OVER PETRA
Mijn naam is Petra de Jong, ik woon in Groningen. Zingen is mijn grote
passie! Vanuit die passie is het idee voor Koru Voice Ceremoniezang
ontstaan. De naam Koru verwijst naar een woord uit het Maori (Nieuw-
Zeeland) en betekent ‘groei, harmonie en nieuw begin’. Ceremoniezang
houdt in dat mijn repertoire geschikt is voor uitvaarten, huwelijken of
andere plechtigheden.
Met mijn stem geef ik uitdrukking aan emoties, probeer ik mensen ‘aan te raken’. Liefde, verlies en hoop spelen een hoofdrol in de songs die ik zing.
